Selecting Home Fitness Equipment

You have decided to start an exercise program and you know you that going to the gym is not an option for you

. If this sounds like you, it is time to select some home fitness equipment so that you can get your exercise from the convenience of your home.

Personally, I don't recommend large or expensive equipment. It is typical for people to use equipment for awhile and then it turns into a close hanger or a door stop. In most cases, it is not easily moved or concealed. There are other options that will achieve the same healthy results without the expense or size that exercise equipment requires.

If you are going to be exercising in your home, you are going to want something that is easy move and store. I recommend the following 3 things: a yoga ball, resistance bands and some type of step aerobics equipment (I use stacking steps that can be step up and down on.)

These items will give you a complete workout. With these pieces of equipment you can do aerobic exercises, strength training and stretching exercises. You can use them and then conceal them very easily. The best past is these 3 products can be used while you are watching television or your little ones are napping.

Bottom line, when it comes to selecting home fitness equipment, the best choice you can make is to select equipment that you are going to use. Even if bands are inexpensive an easy to use, if you aren't going to use them, they are still a waste of money.

Take some time to think about activities that you enjoy and things that you know you will not do. The secret to regular exercise is to find something that you can work into your schedule and something that you enjoy. If exercise is cumbersome, you will soon make excuses for why you cannot exercise.
