Self Confidence Made Indian Team to Win the World Cup

The final match of World Cup 2011 has been witnessed the result of Team Effort and Self Confidence. Team India has got these qualities immensely as it manages to reach the huge target of 275 runs with 10 balls left. It is not easy to achieve the target when senior players like Virender Sehwag and Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar did not played well. But, Team India has made it possible.

The man who led the Indian Team is definitely would be Mr Cool Captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni. He proved himself that he will give answers with his bat but not with words. He knows how to react according to the situation and also knows how to acquire the complete talent from his team members. Once he will take any decision he will stick to it. He has been a true leader who always led his team with calm and patience. Dhoni is not only a straight forward person but also a committed person. This unique quality really getting him praises from all around the world.

Self Confidence is the key aspect for an Indian Team to win the World Cup. Though there are some disturbances during the initial stages of the tournament, Dhoni and his team never gets disappointed. And also, did not distressed when the team loses the toss in the final match. The team did not lose the hope when the Sri Lankan Team made 274 runs on the score board. With calmness and proper planning, they attacked the Sri Lankan Bowlers effectively and the result is winning the world cup.

Youngsters really played a crucial innings and no one can forget the partnership made by Gautham Gambhir and Virat Kohli at the final match. Then, Captain Dhoni's unique decision to come on to the crease in the crucial stage is the remarkable attempt made by him. He finally succeeded in that and contributed from his side to his team.

Every bowler in the Indian Team except Sreesanth had bowled well. A winner will never quit, A Quitter will never win will perfectly suits for Yuvaraj Singh in 2011 World Cup Tournament.

The contribution made by the little master Sachin Tendulkar throughout the tournament is outstanding. The current Indian Team has made Sachin's dream of winning the world cup and young cricketers like Yuvraj, Virat Kohli, Zaheer Khan, Gautam Gambhir say that they have dedicated the cup to Sachin. Gary Kirsten, the coach of an Indian Team also played a key role in achieving the goal.
