Spending should be task oriented like investing in good desk, computers, specialized equipment, gears and softwares.

Finally your home office should be organized in such a way that it has formal rules and procedures, standard operating procedures related to maintaining records, filing, invoice generation etc. you must establish working hours and timings should be strictly followed.
