Shaklee has been around for quite a period of time. It was found by Dr. Forest C. Shaklee back in 1956. It is one of the first nutritional companies in existence and was an innovator in developing a strong case for multi-level marketing (MLM) companies. Shaklee makes products for home care, weight management, skin care, and nutrition. The product line has made Shaklee a popular choice for mothers who want the best products for their families and a chance to earn a supplemental income from home.

Today, Shaklee has purchased and created joint ventures with different companies all over the world to continue to create products that are in demand for consumers. Overall, Shaklee appears to have the best interest of the consumer in mind and is a solid company.

Having not been a Shaklee distributor now or in the past, I could not find any more specifics on their compensation plan. However, for a MLM company to be around for this long I think it is safe to say the compensation plan works.

Final Analysis

Shaklee is a solid company that if you choose to join can very lucrative for the right individual. However, it is important with any "opportunity" like this that you don't go into it blind. Meaning....you need to be realistic about what it will take to make money. And realistically, you will need to recruit a LOT of people and sell a LOT of products.
