Shri Vishwakarma Model School is located at Adhyapak Nagar, Shiv Vihar in Nangloi. The school was established by Vishwakarma Social, Educational and Cultural Society. It is a composite co-educational institute from Nursery to X and affiliated to CBSE. The school has a dynamic approach towards education. The school has shown excellent results in academic and other fields. The students have scored 100 out of 100 marks in CBSE examinations.

The school is affiliated to the CBSE board. The syllabus at the school is on the pattern of NCERT/DBT and CBSE. The school is bilingual medium. Education is imparted both in Hindi and English. The school has an ideal and appropriate teacher-pupil ratio. It is a ISO 9001:2000 certified organization. The school focuses on academic excellence and intellectual development. The school aims at instilling good habits and values in students such as truthfulness, self-respect, unselfishness, self-control, discipline, good manners, a sense of duty, fair play, dignity of labor, team spirit, compassion and a rational and scientific approach.

Efforts are made to inculcate a sense of pride and love for the country in the students. The school was established in 1989. The school was started with 10 students and one teacher. The school has more than 1500 students on rolls. At the pre-primary level, the school aims to create a home away from home. The students get to participate in dramatics, story narration, rhymes, songs, sketching and coloring. Also there is frequent use of audio-visual aids that make learning fun for tiny tots.

At the primary level, education is activity based and the school focuses on play-way methods of joyful learning. The school lays emphasis on language development through group discussions, public speaking, creative writing and conservation classes. At the middle level, there is continuous evaluation through weekly tests, term tests, assignments and projects. The school also provides good infrastructure to the students.

The school also has a full-fledged library that has a well stocked books, periodicals, magazines and newspapers. The students also get to go on educational tours. Visits are arranged to places of cultural, scientific, historical, spiritual and geographic importance. Transport facility is also provided to the students.
