Fats & Grains

Your efforts should be more towards consumption of unsaturated fats, fibers and whole grains rather than trans fats & refined grains. Additionally make sure that amount of fat that you consume in a day is not in excess of 15% - 35% of total calorie consumption.

Control calories

Your diet plan should be such that the calories taken daily are not more than 10 times your current weight. If you are 300 pounds then it should not be more than 3000 calories/day.
