The Singapore Grand Prix is one of the most notable and sought after events in the FIA Formula One World Championship calendar

The re-launch of the event, paved the way to the first night race ever held in the history of formula one races in the world. It is noteworthy that 110,000 tickets were sold out for the inaugural race after the revival. For the first ever night time Formula 1 race, the remarkable race track was lit up along with a row of projectors. The victor of the event was none other than Fernando Alonso of Team Renault.
