. Suppose you have lived in your current home for 5 years or above. It means in 5 years you have collected lots of things such as garments, clothes, toys, home appliances, furniture, and other necessary household items. On the whole you have a large amount of stuffs in your current home. And when it comes to move your home with entire household items, you will certainly feel uneasy. You will be certainly confused for how to pack things properly. You are not alone; almost all people get confused in such situation. Good packing of household is utmost necessary because it ensures for safe & damage-free transportation of things to the new destination. Here are some smart packing tips which can help you pack things properly and smartly without any hassles and damage of goods.

Pack things early and do not wait to last moment to pack. You should pack things as early as five to six weeks before the actual date of your home shift. Start packing of goods by packing non-essential items first. I mean you should pack things first which are not of daily use. For example, if you are moving in summer, pack winter garments firsts because you will not use winter clothes. Pack first items like extra clothes, extra set of dishes, books, magazines, etc. Remember, more you pack before the day of move, the easier you will experience.

Before you start pack things, gather plenty of essential packing supplies handy. For example, if you consider that you will need for 20 cartons of pack things, purchase or gather 30 cartons. You will need packing supplies like cartons, boxes, packaging tapes, bubble wraps, newspapers, wrapping sheets, permanent marker, labeling stickers, etc.

Wrap items carefully using enough layer of wrapping sheets and put them into strong box. Feel empty spaces of box with waded newspapers or appropriate padding materials for the proper cushions for items inside the box. Pack highly breakable and fragile items with utmost care.
