. However, there are people that move to those countries because of work and still need their children to study specific subjects so that when the family moves back to a normal country the child will not be behind with the studying.

Parents in developed countries prefer to homeschool their children because the education system is not effective enough or the family moves a lot in order to fulfill the tasks of one of the parents job. This is common in the United States, where a lot of families move at leas a couple of times each year and it is difficult for their children to keep integrating into new social groups. The parents consider that since it is legal to perform this at home, it is a better idea than forcing their children to keep meeting new children and so on. This is why parents home school their kids, I think. It is a matter of having the option and benefiting from it.

If we were to talk a former Soviet block republic for instance, I would say that parents here should home school their kids more often because the education system is failing and anyone that graduates from a university here does not have the needed skills and knowledge to get hired in a good job. This is a major problem and one of the solutions would be to allow parents to home school their children.

This might also be a problem of financial situation, with parents not being able to support their children through school, and instead of just giving up on this aspect they decide to help them with whatever they can. It is important in this life to know as much as possible about anything, and if you are not going to school, you are not going to study history and science on your own, someone should help you.

So, why do parents homeschool their children? There are, as you can see, a lot of reasons, but the most important thing that we should learn from this is that learning is vital for a good life, so I think that teaching your children at home about basic things, like your countrys history, is a very positive thing. It is also cheap and you could also get closer to your child in this way. The only problem is making sure that your country will allow your child to take equivalency exams so that the entire teaching process is not in vain. Other than that I really think that in many areas of the world this is the only way to make sure that you children get all the knowledge they need to become important people in their lives.
