Starcraft 2 Strategy Guide - Protoss Vs Zerg

Playing as Protoss can be a very changeling, with the way Zerg expand and cover the map

, victory might seem impossible. Once your have mastered this basic Protoss strategy you can easily dominate Zerg.

Before we start discussing this Zerg strategy we need to review one thing you can use against every race. You should be trying to scout your opponent as much as possible, it doesn't matter what race you are facing. Get a Robotics Facility as quickly as possible and build an Observer to you can keep and eye on your opponent.

If your opponent is massing Zerglings, build a couple Colossus to fry the little buggers. Make sure your Colossus have some units in front of them as a shield, such as Zealots and Stalkers. If the Zerg player is going Hydralisks or Roaches, get some Immortals with a couple Colossus to destroy them. Some Zerg players like to get Mutalisks, you can easily stop these with Stalkers or Pheonixes. These are some of the most common Zerg strategies on Battlenet, so now you know the best way to counter them.

However, if you notice the Zerg player is getting a lot of Infestors, defeating him is a little more complicated. If you notice this when you are scouting try and get some Void Rays or Phoenixes to pick them off. Their mind control can really turn the tide in fights if you don't control them. Follow this basic guide and in no time you will be crushing Zerg players easily.
