There are one and a million strategies for Texas Hold Em. Some of them are good, some of them are bad, but most fall in the middle. I'm going to explain two new strategies you might not be using right now.

You can use these strategies whenever you want however they aren't really for use in tournaments. Play these in cash/ring games. Also play these in a limit at least one down from your normal limit. You don't want to go broke having a bit of fun with these strategies for Texas Hold Em.

Strategies For Texas Hold Em - Pocket Pairs to Trips to All In

This strategy involves making a move for the pot when you get a signal. For the most part just play your normal strategy but when the signal occurs move all in. When you have a pocket that is a minor signal. When you hit a trips on the flop that's your major signal.

When you play pocket pairs and score a trips on the flop, if there isn't a straight or flush draw on the table odds are you're gonna win. When you get into this position just all-in. You will win more times than not and come out profitable.

Although be careful for tell-tale warning signs, like if you have bottom pair (trips) and there are high cards on the table, for example.

Strategies For Texas Hold Em - Bully Lower Stakes Tables

This strategy can be fun just in itself. If you are bored and need a bit of a laugh one day do this. Grab your bankroll and stack and go down to the penny tables. The really really low limit ones. 1c, 2c, 5c or 10c will do.

Then, when you get any half-decent hand, just bet huge. Continue raising, re-raising and targeting lower stack opponents. You'll get heaps of folds and will win pots left right and centre. You don't have to all-in but just bet like 5 to 10 times the big blind.

The key to this strategy is to not be too stupid and play really really bad cards. Keep it above board for the most part and you'll do alright. You will win a bit of money but probably not as much as you could have if you played in your normal limit.

However winning a bit of money is better than losing. Plus these strategies for Texas Hold Em are fun to do.
