Street Fighter's Self Defense Techniques
There are seven self defense techniques that you simply must learn
. Commercial outposts for martial arts, karate, judo, self defense classes, and such, have become the in-thing today. Yet, the only chance you have of outsmarting modern-day muggers and rapists is by becoming a street fighter yourself.
If you want to beat that aggressive drug user, thug, street robber or drunken pest, learn these seven reaction patterns that totally disable your attacker and give you a chance of escape. Unlike in martial arts, there is no honor in street fights. Self defense has no rules and you should never hesitate to play dirty while defending yourself if that is all the chance you have.
It is however important that before you revert to an attack mode you exhaust some two requirements.
i.Avoid confrontation. Run if you can and do not let your pride get you into a street fight. These rogues sometimes carry dangerous weapons and can turn vindictive very easily.
ii.If you can't run at the outset, distract the attacker. Instead of being intimidated and panicky, shout and make a big scene that the attacker might want to escape from. If that gives you a space to run, run.
But if that doesn't work still, it is time to get dirty. Gain confidence despite how intimidating the attacker might be. Look out for a moment of surprise and execute any one of these self defense techniques with a non-remorseful vengeance. It is your life after all and even the law grants you that one.
The groin smash is one of the most effective, no-holds barred techniques. Smash the groin with a foot or knee, with everything you got. If your are close enough, grab the groin with your hand, pull, crash and twist as if you are killing a snake. That alone is as lethal as a gunshot.
The eye gouge is yet another potent but largely unexploited technique. Put all your fingers or the two thumbs deep inside your attacker's eye sockets. This is not martial arts, it is the streets and the dirty always win, so gouge those eyes out carnivore style. Searing pain and blurred vision for the attacker will be all you need to get out of there safely.
The throat and or neck punch are also two self defense techniques that can save you a rib. For the throat punch, use a punch or an elbow to crash the throat with all you are worth. For the neck punch, use a punch or elbow to deftly hit the artery on the neck side. These two will cause pain and shock in the attacker, enough for you to make good an escape.
You can also cup your hands and bang hard on both ears to burst the attacker's ear drums. Again, you can insert your fingers deep into the nostrils and then jerk upwards with you all you have. If you can tear open the nostrils, the better. The last of these self defense techniques is a kick to the side of a knee. That bone at the side of a knee is very vulnerable and if you hit hard on the knee side it will easily pop out of the attacker's knee and leave him calling on his mother. Hit hard to shatter the kneecap completely with a sweeping side kick.
