The National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying provides students with a written exam based on all industry knowledge including geographic principles and computer technologies. Students can obtain the knowledge to pass this exam by completing coursework that will help them learn computer aided drafting, project management, and more. Students can also train in business to help them prepare for testing and a professional career.
Surveying work is constantly used and students that gain an education will step into a growing field. The learning process can start once students choose an accredited school or college to pursue a career in surveying. Accreditation is provided to surveying schools that meet the criteria by agencies like the American Council for Construction Education (ACCE).
