Currently, the newest operating system released by Google for the smart phone is Android 2.3. This system was released in December of last year, but only the Nexus S applies this system. According to the newest statement of Google, about 89% of the phones use the Android 2.2 or 2.1. Android 3.0 has been released in January of 2011, which is designed for tablet computer.
