It replaces letter writing with instant messaging, telephone conversations with live video-cams, and library visits with downloaded documents. Business transactions no longer require traveling cross-country. Purchases can be done instantly online. And with satellite uplinks this can be done anytime and anywhere in the world.
The internet is a source of endless information. A single word search produces hundreds of thousands of website matches. It is only limited by your imagination and your connection speed.
