Advertising is one of the most dynamic forms of media

. It involves a lot of procedures that continually change and revolutionize the way advertisers present products and services.

It also comes in several forms which makes it the best way to provide information while at the same time promote a wide scope of different things through different angles and approaches. These forms enable advertisers to diversify the ideas and present the same over and over without letting the viewers interest wear off.

There are many places around the world like Toronto, Vancouver and many more, which uses the power of advertisement to get people to pay attention to many different things. However, due to the number of advertising companies, it becomes a major problem to come up with the most unique idea that can catch the attention of consumers. In turn, advertisers combined different forms of advertising to make commercials more interesting.

The most famous form of advertising is comparative advertising. This form applies specifically to directly or indirectly competing products with one or more brands. It is often used by several industries from transportation to basic commodities like soaps and shampoos. However, its main drawback includes the skepticism of audiences with regards to the accuracy and credibility of the claims of some brands towards other brands. Yet this method has been continuously utilized and is still effective because the consumers are able to compare products and evaluate its performance through commercials. Another form is informational advertising. This is most commonly used for new products or ideas that need to be introduced to the consumers first before constantly advertised. It emphasizes on promoting the products name, benefits, and possible purposes through testimonials that are presented as mini commercials. Vancouver advertisers like many others use the initial reactions of the market to determine their next move and the next form of advertising that is more appropriate to use.

Advertisements are also not limited to television commercials. Vancouver advertisers like many others also use different forms of outdoor advertising like billboards and messages painted on sides of buildings and roads. This is most effective for main roads which often experiences heavy traffic. There are many other forms available and it is often based on the purpose of the ad and the target market involved.
