The Navarre province is the only province in the Spanish Community
, known as the Autonomous Community. It is situated at the French border with plenty of evidence of an old medieval kingdom, which flourished in its importance due to its strategic position. The majestic Pyrenees mountain ranges loom around it.
Pamplona is the current capital of the Navarre, which is located at the left bank of Arga. It is an important modern city with superb building structures and avenues while retaining all the medieval charms and historical echoes.

Here, you will find a Gothic-style cathedral, which had to be rebuilt in 1397 to restore its exuberant beauty, namely its cloister, the chapter house, the sculptural designs as well as the royal mausoleum.

You will also have a breath-taking view from the Sanctuary of San Miguel at 1,230 m up Aralar Sierra in Excelsis. Sanguesa is one of Navarres oldest areas, just 44.5 km outside the capital, near Aragon River. Besides these, Navarre also offers resplendent Romanesque portal, palaces and towers, such as that of Santa Marias.
Estella is bursting with medieval and Roman cultures while positioned as a high quality popular tourist centre with impressive buildings complete with towers and portals. Navarres royal palace is a worthy place to visit, as it embraced a majestic Romanesque architectural structure, while the Gustavo de Maeztu Museum stores much of his artworks. Olite is a magnificent Gothic architectural castle-cum-palace.
