Excelling doesn't follow that you should have to be so proud and boastful but it's a momentary gratifying feeling that you will feel unconsciously if you accomplish one. The very first thing that you must do is to realize the differences between learning and studying. Many have incorporated these two words as similar words with the same meanings. Studying is processes in which you just have to rote memorize things exactly as what was mentioned in the subject books of the course or the notes that you have taken. On the other hand, Learning is a mental natural practice and activity that makes you familiar with certain facts, information and ideas as well as their practical applications and significance.

Merely memorizing is not the ideal approach to comprehend and understand things effectively. It should not be the approach of the students when they are studying. The perfect approach to attain knowledge and skills is to have a holistic learning towards the subject. Realizing more the concepts you have read and interconnecting the ideas of the different books and resources you used will be a good practice of your mind to naturally imprint the information, ideas and facts you have just learned. By doing such, you will be more skilled and improved well in the most important thing of education which is application of the theories and facts gathered in school. Eventually, excelling in school will just be a matter of time.

Internet contains so much information and ideas but most of them are not reliable. That's why when you're referring to the books when gathering information just make sure that the website you decided to use is a legitimate and contains facts and real information. In the internet, you may find some e-books that teach some unique techniques to excel in school and give better studying techniques. However, most of these electronic books just provide various styles on how to memorize words and sentences well. They are not giving you the right way to learn the things that must be one, although not all of them.

These books will only increase your ability to memorize things without comprehension and understanding. But these styles are 100% not effective and will just cause you to fail in the exams that you will be taking. That is because studying without learning and understanding is just like building a house without a solid foundation in which fall on its own easily. In this way, you are very prone to forgetting the things that you have memorized or committing mistakes that is temporarily stored in your memory. In general, the learning process has nothing to do with memorizing things.

Principally, one of the right ways of learning is to have understandable different partitions of the material that you are learning. By doing so, you will be able to visualize the concepts and terms and interlink them for better and deeper understandings. There are really lots of ways to excel in school. The very first thing you must consider is to learn more and study less.
