The Last Thing On Your Mind In Any Relationship
The Last Thing On Your Mind In Any Relationship
Little girls grow up reading fairy tale stories with princesses being swept off their toes by their perect prince charming, we listen to bed time stories of being saved by that scary dragon and going off to live in a castle and loved forever til the end of time. At night when we lay our heads down, we dream of these things longing and hoping at age 6, 14, 21 and often times into our 30s, 40s and 50swaiting.
We all want to meet that perfect man or woman, walk off into the beautiful sunset on a heroic horseback, know if we fall that that special someone is there to catch us and stand next to us, but that is not how things usually go. Often times we long for that ideal love, and companionship, date, marry, and in turn, we end up settling for something slightly less than what may be ideal for either party. Ending things in resentment, disgust, bitter and ugly divorces, and result in being totaly alone, and untrusting for a relationship.
It is often times like this that we sit down, after we have fallen into a companionship, too soon, that we later find oneselves sitting and wondering what went wrong. This can really be summed up to one cause, pure impatience. When we rush into something that may feel right and seem right, and very well could be right, however there is patience necessary to build a foundation.
When you build a real solid base when beginning a companionship, two parties are compromising, and working together to find a real ground to build a lasting relationship on. This is something that will allow you both to get to know one another, see how you work out issues, deal with bitter conflict, compromise with one another, and what lengths you are willing to go to make your realtionship a success. This often times helps build problem solving skills for you as a couple as well, minimizing the chance of anger getting in the way and eating at your relationship.
Without brining patience and maturity to the companionship you are searching for a short term relationship built on a lot of passion and not enough real patience, often ending abruptly when either party may be ready, but the heat of the moment taking control
Having passion and heat in a companionship is vital, but it is also just as important to ensure that true heat and passion is from compassion, physical attraction and love. Rather than anger, resentment and other negative feelings that can crumble any solid relationship. Bringing pure patience, time and willingness to take things slow, allowing the relationship time to mature will offer solid results for both individuals making that Happily Ever After all that more real.
