The New Renault Laguna

September 2010 saw the unveiling of Renaults updated Laguna model

, the hatchback and Sport Tourer Models were on display at the Paris motor show. With Renaults new simplified naming and pricing structure there will be three core models of the Laguna available, the Expression, Dynamique TomTom and GT Line TomTom.

The new Renault Laguna in Wiltshire comes with a comprehensive specification level, the entry level expression for example comes with Arkamys 3D Sound, single CD/radio MP3 with Bluetooth and fingertip control, 16" alloy wheels, air conditioning, aux input, ESC and front fog lights. That is quite a lot of kit for an entry level model, and demonstrates the consumer benefit of Renaults simplified model and pricing structure.

The Renault Laguna Dynamique TomTom is expected to be the best seller in the range, it has an endless list of creature comforts to make life easier at the wheel. Examples of the Dynamique TomTom models features include automatic parking brake, headlights and wipers, cruise control, chrome twin exhausts (excluding dCi 110), dual zone climate control, electrically heated and folding door mirrors, hands-free keycard, rear parking sensors, multi-functional TunePoint and speed limiter. This model also has Carminat TomTom Live, the latest edition of Renault's integrated satellite navigation system.

The range topping Laguna GT Line TomTom model has even more standard kit, it comes with 18" Interlagos dark finish alloy wheels, BOSE sound system with 10 speakers and amplifier, 4Control four-wheel steering for an even more engaging drive (dCi 180 only), pearl black electric folding door mirrors with memory, and leather and Alcantara upholstery with electrically adjustable heated front seats.
