The Nokia N8 features automatic location tagging of both images and videos captured
with its powerful 12 megapixel camera capable of capturing video in High Definition quality. The handset also has a music and media player along with many other integrated applications.Connectivity is offered with Bluetooth 3.0 for close proximity file sharing and syncing, while faster sharing is made possible with the High-Speed USB 2.0 through the microUSB connector which is also used for charging the device. Additionally, the handset has an HDMI port allowing you to connect it to a compatible distally such as an HD television for big screen playback of HD videos made on or downloaded to the handset. As well as the music player which supports all major audio file formats and allows you to seamlessly scroll through albums with the touch interface, the phone also has an integrated RM radio and transmitter.
The N8 has a large 3.5 inch capacitive AMOLED touch screen display with simple finger actions to control the user interface for the Symbian 3 operating system running. The screen is rendered in 16:9 (widescreen) ration and nHD high quality resolution for fantastic graphics and screen quality along with its ability to render up to 16.7million colours. Text input is easy with the onscreen alphanumeric keypad and full keyboard. The handset also has dedicated keys for volume and to the camera. You can also browse the Web in full HTML and Flash with the Flash Lite 4.0 alongside the Web Runtime 7.2 browser.
The handset has an easy to use email client with support for displaying and opening attachments including images, and Office documents including Word, Excel, Powerpoint, along with support for PDF documents and ZIP files. It also has HTML email support allowing you to see HTML emails in their HTML originality instead of having to switch to either a text version or view in the Web browser. All emails are also unified into the one client with support for Yahoo! Mail, GMAil, Hotmail and other POP/IMAP accounts.
