Another usually overlooked facility of self catering accommodation is that your room will typically be better equipped. This includes having a refrigerator in your room since you are expected to have to keep food in your room, along with even a kitchenette in some cases so you can prepare your own food whenever you want.

The most exciting thing about self catering holidays is that you always have more freedom than with a regular holiday in a 5-star luxury hotel.
