With concealer, you can make all of those imperfections less noticeable, which is a great thing! Place the concealer directly on the zits or pimples then dot underneath your lower eyelids as well. Blend lightly with your finger or a slightly wet makeup sponge.

When you apply your foundation, you want to have a shade that matches your skin tone exactly. Use your damp sponge or your fingers to blend your foundation from the center of your face towards the outsides. You will want to spend extra time to be sure you have applied your makeup under the jaw and on the neck in order to achieve the most natural look possible.

You may have noticed pressed powder compacts when you were shopping for your makeup at one time or another. Pressed powder is a great way to set your makeup and make it last longer on your skin without fading away.

In recent years, strong eyebrows have become all the rage. You can strengthen the look of your eyebrows by using an eyebrow pencil. Do not put too much pressure on the pencil when you apply it to your eyebrows. Choose a shade that matches your natural brows, and apply in light and even strokes. Once you have finished this step, you can begin to apply your eye shadow!

Many people consider eye shadow to be the most fun part of putting on makeup. Your look can change drastically depending on the colors that you choose for your eye shadow. Be as wild or neutral as you feel comfortable with. By using eyeshadow, you are making your face your canvas, so feel free to express yourself completely! Start by putting the most neutral color over the lid entirely, then you can place other colors in the crease.

After you have finished with your eye shadow, it is time to apply the eye liner pencil. It is recommended that you use either brown or black liner and put only a thin line under and on top of the eye lids as close to the lash line as you can manage.

To finish the look of your eye makeup, you can use a nice mascara to bring out the look of your lashes. Brown and black are the most popular colors of mascara, though you may find many different colors are available. Use the mascara wand to apply the mascara at the part of your eyelashes that are closest to the lids first, then make even strokes outward.

Apply a lightly colored blush to the apples of your cheeks, the purpose of this is to simply add a bit of color to your face. Finish the look by applying a bit of lipstick in a shade that compliments your skin tone and other makeup!
