Since this is a rhythm game, you will need to be able to follow the rhythm. It may take some time for the rhythm to come naturally, but one thing that can always work is to sing the beats in your head to its rhythm. For example, you could go Pon-pon-pata-pon, 1-2-3-4, Pon-pon-pata-pon, 1-2-3-4 continuously. If that is not enough, feel free to move your body in sync, perhaps tap your feet. For all you know, you would have probably gotten a good workout.

Like most games, you would want to get as much money so that you can afford new items. In this game, one of the simplest ways to get kachings is to go on a hunt. Try not to use Tatepons during the hunts because they can easily scare off preys since they can only attack at close range. Choose warriors like Yaripon where they can attack from a distance. You can even replay the Lucky Star level when it is not raining as you can especially get much kachings from there by killing the black pig. As to gain troops resources, the easiest way to gain them are to play the minigames over and over again. Of course, the closer to perfect your beats matches the minigames, the higher-leveled resources you will get, so if you are looking to attain lower-leveled resources, play to the beat but not to perfection.
