How blog marketing works is that you create a blog based around the topic of the product or service you are going to promote.
You then write posts about your topic. The topic of these posts can be anything from discussing issues your visitors have, helping them to solve problems, providing them with information or providing honest product reviews.
When you are ready to get started blogging, I recommend you purchase your own domain, and host company and setup Wordpress.
I recommend you use is Wordpress, because it is free and often extremely easy to install, you can also find thousands of themes that you can quickly install to give your Wordpress blog a professional presentation.
Strategy 3: Combine Article marketing with Blog Marketing
Once you get the hang of the above two affiliate marketing strategies. It's time for you to combine them.
How this works is that you set up your blog post that contain links to the product or service you are promoting.
You then write articles that match the same topic of your blog post and link back to them.
This strategy allows you to quickly expand your blogs reach as well as combine the power of article marketing and blog marketing.
But, remember, affiliate marketing is a people business and is more effective if you drop the sales pitch and just talk to your visitors, help them by providing information or solving their problems and then direct them to products that you know are excellent.
Finally, when you get started with these affiliate marketing strategies, it is important that you understand it will take time for you to start to build momentum.
