Charities San Diego: Falling Whistles
Falling Whistles was founded by Sean Carasso in 2009 after his short learning expedition in Congo. During the time, he came to know about the tragic stories of children being kidnapped by the Congolese army and being sent out to the frontline of rebels with a whistle in hand. He was deeply heartbroken by the bloodshed in Congo that mostly claimed the lives of innocents and founded Falling Whistles to improve their condition. The idea on which the foundation is based is that we all are whistleblowers for peace and our efforts can make the world a beautiful place. Within one year, the voice of the campaign reached across the world. In less than a year, the organization has organized dozens of Charities in San Diego and raised thousands of dollars.
