5. Experiment with breastfeeding

You think the idea of breastfeeding unappealing, especially when your baby needs feeding every couple of hours; however breastfeeding has been found to use up up to 500 calories per day (or between 200 and 600 calories).

6. Workout with friends

Going for Walking or visiting an aerobics class with a mate is a great way to keep yourself motivated and ensure that you exercise often. Tip: if you are feeling self conscious about your figure, why not ask another new mum to attend with you and use each other as a motivator.
