Toyota delivers new Tacoma in better packages

, we like to take a look at vehicles that are practical for many purposes. We really, really enjoy the whole pickup truck aesthetic, even though the industry has been focused on launching fuel efficient cars lately. Long Island Toyota Rav4 dealers are among some of the best locations to check out pickup trucks, and the 2011 models are rolling out really soon. It's great to see that Toyota, even following its big moves in fuel technology, is still a major contender in the pickup truck market. The new packages that Toyota is offering for the Tacoma are sick, and we're excited to give them a shot in the coming months when we make a couple of visits to our Long Island Toyota Corolla dealer.

The new Tacoma packages are based on the T|X concept, which launched at the 2009 SEMA show. Between new exhaust and fantastic electronic locking rear differential for good measure, Long Island Toyota Rav4 dealers are giving drivers something good to talk about. There will be T|X and T|X Pro packages available with extra trimmings for the professional pickup drivers. The packages were developed because consumers had such a strong reaction to the original concept car. Apparently, Toyota didn't have any intention of turning the concept into a new model, but it's good to see that they aren't letting it fall by the wayside especially with such an overwhelmingly positive consumer response. Long Island Toyota Rav4 dealers are in for a lot of business. According to the official press release, "The TRD Off-Road Package underlying both T|X editions provides a carefully tuned balance of off-road performance and on-road handling. Chassis modifications include an electronic locking rear differential, progressive-rate front springs, specially tuned Bilstein shock absorbers, a 28-mm front stabilizer bar and B.F. Goodrich Rugged Trail tires. Fog lamps top off the package for a tough, sporty appearance. Added features on the TRD Off-Road Package include a 400W/115V powerpoint in the bed, sport seats with adjustable lumbar support and unique fabric, plus an overhead console with a compass and outside temperature display."

For this guy, the new packages will feed the fire already roaring at Long Island Toyota Corolla dealers across the area. It's great to see Toyota establishing itself again in the face of the past couple months of adversity. Following the recalls of the Prius and Corolla models, the company seemed to lose a lot of wind from its sales. But it has developed a sustainable business model over the years by playing in more than one segment, launching only the best vehicles in each of them.
