You would also want to get hold of a good graphics card. So check out ATI Radeon HD 4850 512MB GDDR3 or NVIDIA GeForce GT 240 1GB GDDR3. Both these cards offer outstanding performance at a very low price point.
Finally you can add additional memory (RAM) in your computer to make it smooth and can also opt for a 17" screen if you're still stuck with a small one. If you have a 17" or a larger screen, no need to upgrade.
