Brushes & Tools
The brushes chosen for the job should be of good quality, because it can make a big difference in the smoothness of the strokes and how even the paint goes on. Pre-Treat & A Second Coat
Walls that have dark colored paint or stains should be pre-treated with a coat of Kilz or some other product before putting the paint on the wall. Otherwise the color or stain might bleed through and can be much harder to fix at that stage. Depending on the color choice of paint, many walls need a second coat. It simply makes the wall look smoother and oftentimes enhances the color! Allow it to fully dry before adding any additional coats of paint or other kind of sealant!
