A meteor shower bursts from the heavens, raining destruction on the unsuspecting citizens of Smallville, Kansas. Present day. Twelve years have passed and the healing process has left the town's inhabitants with scars and secrets. From the ashes of tragedy, a popular yet awkward teen attempts to decipher the meaning of his life and his clouded past. As he struggles with the transition from boyhood to adulthood, his strength and strange abilities set him uncomfortably apart from his peers. His name is Clark Kent.

A young Clark Kent (Tom Welling) learns that with great power comes great responsibility. Spanning his formative years in the town of Smallville, to his move to Metropolis and work at the Daily Planet, Smallville tells the Man of Steel's whole story, along with other DC Comic heroes, and, of course, Lois Lane (Erica Durance).

Tess is a Luthor? Yep, she is. I'm an avid fan of Smallville but I'd never seen this revelation coming. Tess is the illegitimate daughter of Lionel Luthor. She was who abandoned when she was 5 years old and then left with Granny Goodness, who turns out to be one of a trinity of prophets for the dark lord Darkseid, the other two being Gordon Godfrey and club owner Desaad. Tess birth name is Lutessa Lena Luthor.

I really love the scene where Teri Hatcher and Erica Durance share the screen. It was an incredibly overwhelming moment seeing two of these Lois Lanes on the screen. Although they weren't in the same room, they certainly gave performances that connected them both women. They even have similarity on their features. They look like real mother and daughter.

This coming Friday, November 19, 2010 the Smallville Season 10 Episode 9: Patriot is set to air its premiere broadcast on The CW. On this episode Aquaman (guest star Alan Ritchson) will grace the show. The Patriot episode was directed by Tom Welling himself and was written by John Chisolm. In an effort to protect the rest of the team, Oliver decides to register for the Vigilante Registration Act to see what the government plans to do with the new law. As he suspected, it was a trap to lure superheroes to an undisclosed location where he is confined to a jail and subjected to a battery of brutal tests under the supervision of Col. Slade. Aquaman and his new wife Mera team up with Clark to free Oliver. Lois is frustrated when Clark continues to push aside her offers to help the team and sets out to prove she can play with the big boys.
