Waterbury Honda Odyssey Drivers Await The New 2011 Model
Though it certainly wont be as exciting as some of the adventures from Homers literary work
, the 2011 Honda Odyssey promises to delight buyers with its updated design and spacious interior. Waterbury Honda Odyssey customers will appreciate the changes to this popular model.
Although Honda has not dramatically altered the design, the 2011 Odyssey does have a wider, lower profile. Fuel efficiency also has improved a bit over the 2010 model, with the 2011 3.5-liter V-6 engine featuring cylinder deactivation; it boasts about 19 mph city and 28 mpg highway. These statistics are for the Touring Elite, the top trim model, and some auto industry experts expect only a four-cylinder engine and lower mileage numbers for the lower-end trims.
But even parents who love those fuel-saving numbers will be completely blown away by the space the Odyssey offers in the second row. Three full-size child safety seats can fit side by side. The center seat can even be moved forward to be closer to the driver. Again, this will be in the top trim model and Honda has not specified what features will be offered in other trim packages.
The Odyssey will have under-floor storage behind the front-row seats and a total of 15 cup holders. When you visit your Westport used Honda dealership, be sure to count the cup holders. Power sliding doors will also be a favorite feature of the harried parent.
The 2011 Touring Elite model has many unique features and will be available early this fall. The 16.2-inch dual-view DVD rear entertainment system featuring HDMI input is also a great addition to the vehicle. Waterbury Honda Odyssey customers will appreciate the premium auto system and the way all the technology is integrated for simple usage.
Honda will have us all sold on the Touring Elite model with all the bells and whistles before we even know what to expect from the lesser trims. Ill bet the marketing department had to work overtime to come up with that strategy. And we never saw it coming!
Bluetooth, Satellite navigation and a three-zone climate control are along other amenities. Safety features include Vehicle Stability Assist with Traction Control, Rollover Sensor and three-row side curtain airbags, among others. This might even be enough for any man to reconsider ever owning a minivan. But if I were to buy a minivan, I would consider none other than the 2011 Odyssey, probably the Touring Elite trim.
With a sportier exterior style and alloy wheels, this minivan can almost be classified in the cool category. Customers of the Westport used Honda dealership will enjoy this restyled Odyssey.
