Waxing Tips and Facial Hair Removal For Women
Women and facial hair do not go together and facial shaving is something that should be left to men
. Some where there should be a rule that only men have hair on their faces, but the truth is that this is just wishful thinking. Women do have facial hair and sometimes this can be a problem for them.
For many women shaping the eyebrows is also a part of beautifying themselves and the results can be quite flattering. Whatever the case, this also means removing hair.
So, once the case for getting rid of hair around the face has been made, the next step is to be careful of how it is done. Plucking is a simple, practical and cheap way of shaping and highlighting your eyebrows and is definitely the method to use when removing stray hairs. You just stretch the skin, grab the hair with a pair of tweezers and pull against the direction of hair growth.
What about shaving? Just to get that out of the way, just take it for granted that it is not a great idea. It does not make your hair grow faster or even more hair to come out. But it will show up the regrown hair coming out stiffer, at least for the short term, and it will be more noticeable.
What else can you do? The more long term solutions are electrolysis and laser hair removal. And both of these are methods used by many.

Facial Waxing Tips: (Not for individual stray hairs).
1. If it is the first time you use wax to remove hair, don't start on the face, but practice on your legs or elsewhere. Your face is much more sensitive.
2. Apply wax very thinly and over small areas. Prior to this test the heat in a very small area, just in case.
3. Stretch out the skin as you apply the hair as this makes the hair stand out and is easier to be caught by the wax.
4. Be patient and allow the wax to set. Once this is done hold the skin firmly and pull out in one movement against the direction of the hair growth.
5. Sometimes you will find that not all hairs were removed. instead of re waxing, simply pluck them out - unless the whole process was a complete flop and lots of hairs remain. If this is the case, wait a while and repeat the process allowing the wax to settle and harden.
For Eyebrows:
Safety is always first so make sure no blobs or drops of wax fall on the eye.
You need to apply a thin layer of wax as space is limited.
Upper Lip:
- Most is common sense, repeating the process you see above, only do it in stages: one for each side.
Hair regrowth will be from three days onwards and with continued application, as the hair follicle will weaken, the periods between waxing will be longer.
