Ways To Hang Up Led Lights To Decorate Your Christmas Tree

The Christmas season is the most enjoyable time of year

, embellishing my home and the Christmas Tree. So how do you hang LED lights on a Christmas Tree? On we go to the fine art of draping Christmas lights on our Trees.... And yes, it can be deemed an art. And to a number of people a fine art.

Make certain that before you start , to have everything you need on hand . This will eliminate not having something that is required while you are the on the ladder. So we will start with the ladder, make sure you have a secure step ladder or small ladder available. You will need this while you are draping the upper branches, even with a miniature tree, being on a ladder makes stringing your LED lights much more convenient .

You will of course need your lights, an extension cord if the socket is not close by or a step on off/on switch cord, makes lighting your tree simpler , as well as some patience.

Would you be astonished to know that it is more advisable that you start draping your Christmas Tree LED lights at the bottom? We had always started at the top. Why? You can follow the electrical outlet with the string of LED lights and not have too much or too little remaining from stringing from the top. Never thought of it that way before. You will also be able to start with the right male/female connections, ever hang LED lights and end up with two female ends?

When decorating your Christmas Tree, always start with the lights. The lights are the primary item that should be put on before garland or trinkets. Before you begin, make certain that the lights are working properly , nothing worse than wrapping the lights on the tree and half the strand is not functioning .

As you hang up your LED lights apply a weaving motion one light beneath a branch and the next light above, under and above. Push the cord into the branches so the cord does not show .

Estimate your space as you work your lights into the branches, stagger and spread out your rows so that there are no bare spots or clumps of lights together. Be especially careful not to clump the lights together at the crown of the tree. The peak of the tree should be the special place for your topper.

If you think you need more lights on your Christmas Tree, use additional strands and repeat the method of weaving from the top of the tree to the bottom.

Not sure how many lights you need , a quick rule of thumb is to take the height of your tree and times by 10. For example , a six-foot tree would require around 60 feet... I know I go way overboard on the quantity of lights on my tree but just can't help it.

Now that you are done stringing and are happy with the lights on your Christmas Tree, it is time to embellish your tree with ornaments , garland and whatever tickles your fancy ....
