Nestled in the countryside of northwest Austin, Westminster Glen is a master-planned community that spans 250 acres with views of Texas Hill Country and Lake Austin. The subdivision is located off of City Park Road near 2222 and Loop 360, and the main entrance sits on Westminster Glen Avenue.
The area is known for its picturesque environment and spacious living. Each home sits on a lot of one acre or more, and many are surrounded by large trees and well-manicured lawns. It's not uncommon to see deer, birds, and other wildlife roaming nearby the neighborhood. Westminster Glen offers residents privacy and security, while still being just a short drive 13 miles from downtown Austin.
Established in the 1980s, homes here were created by some of the area's well-known builders and are recognized for their extravagant features both inside and out. It's common to see stone exteriors with expansive patios, fountains, and outdoor pools some even with extras like swim up bars. Many interiors feature large gourmet kitchens, stone fireplaces, and whirlpools, as well as additions like wine pantries and media rooms. From January 2009 to May 2010, sold home prices ranged from $583,000 to nearly $2 million, while they ranged in size from 3,500 to more than 8,000 square feet.
All residents of the neighborhood are members of the Westminster Glen Homeowner's Association. It requires a yearly fee to cover things like maintenance, facility up-keep, and community events.

Children living In Westminster Glen will enjoy the well-respected schools in the Leander Independent School District. This includes River Place Elementary, Laura W. Bush Elementary, Canyon Ridge Middle School, and Cedar Park High School.
Residents of Westminster Glen won't have to worry about going far for groceries or other necessities. Lake Hills Grocery & Meat Market, H.E.B. Pharmacy, and Jester Market are all within three miles of the neighborhood. Davenport Village, a 60,000-square-foot shopping center is also only five miles away on Loop 360 and Westlake Drive.
