Working for yourself is something that is one of the greatest things that a person can do

. But what really is the true power of it? Most people do not even understand this because they have never done it themselves. They have always just worked for other people. So what really is the true power of working for yourself? Its simply CONTROL. Thats right control. People that work for someone else do not full get what it means to have control. Having control simply means that there is no one person or one thing that dictates what you get to do and when. That is something that you have full and complete power over. Think of it like this. Have you ever wanted to do something, anything, visit family, take a vacation, watch your kids sporting event, etc, and you could not do it because you had to do a job. If you have, you might have felt a bit of that control over you by someone else. But if you were working for yourself, you would have the control to say, I want to go watch Johnny play baseball and I will finish this up later on tonight. Do you see? You made the decision to go watch the game. The control what in your hands and not someone elses. But there is one down side to working for yourself, you have to have the discipline to still do the work. Sometimes you might have to make the decision to not go somewhere but to keep working. That is the price that you pay for the control. You have the power and you make the final decision therefore, you must stick up for you decision. Remember that the true power of working for yourself is the control that you have over your life. Not just part of your life, but all of your life.
