What Products Are There For Protecting Your Business During Winter?

During the winter as temperatures drop we may find that we have to take extra care both driving in our cars and walking on the pavement

. The ice can make roads and pathways slippery and many people have suffered injuries such as twisted ankles and broken bones as they fall on the ice. Snow is also a major hazard as it can get compacted by people walking on it or cars driving on it making it as treacherous as ice. For cars in particular the snow can become dirty and take on the colour of the road, creating an invisible hazard.

Whilst it is the local authority and councils responsibility to ensure our roads are clear private business premises are the responsibility of the businesses and companies owning them. You have a responsibility to ensure any service roads, car parks and walkways are clear of any dangers to your workers and visitors. With the possibility of accident claims being made against your company it is in your best interests to ensure your property is safe and that you take appropriate measures.
