What Your Wife Wants You to Know but Can't Say About Her Cheating

. You don't understand how she could have done that to you to your marriage. You know there has to be something more to it than a passing whim but you can't believe she was that unhappy with you.
You have so many questions. The problem is that your wife may not have the words you need to hear. She may not even know the answers herself at least not in a way she can share with you.
Believe it or not, your wife has plenty she would like to say. She just can't seem to find the words to get it said. Here are a few of the things she'd like you to know but just can't bring herself to say right now.
1) She still loves you. She never stopped. Her cheating wasn't about a lack of love for you. It wasn't her unspoken desire to get out of the marriage. It wasn't even a conscious effort to hurt you. As much as she'd love to say otherwise, you were a passing thought the caution sign that was blown through in the urgency of the moment.
2) She still thinks you are the better man. She may have thought the other man had something to offer that was missing in your marriage at the time but in the end she chose you because you are the better man. You are the man she loves. If anything, this experience with the other man has made her appreciate what she has with you.
3) She doesn't want to lose you but she understands if you leave. She knows that cheating is wrong. She feels so much guilt not only about cheating but all the other wrongs that go along with it. She never intended to be unfaithful or dishonest with you but she got deeper and deeper in and lost her way along with bits and pieces of herself along the way.
4) She's so sorry she hurt you. This is the one truth she just can't escape. She knows her actions hurt you and feels that simply apologizing could never be enough. So, she says nothing. She makes no attempt to defend actions she believes are indefensible.
5) She accepts responsibility for her actions. She isn't looking to shift blame for what she did to you. She knows she did wrong. She'd love the opportunity to spend the rest of her life trying to make it right if you're willing to give her that chance.
