They are said to be best for entertainment purposes such as for surfing the web, watching movies, playing games and reading eBooks. With regard to work, these devices are not great, as they have a virtual keyboard that would appear on the screen should you need to type, and they do not have a good feel when it comes to punching the 'keys'. They are also being found to be quite delicate and hence are likely to get damaged when it comes to doing heavy duty work.

The current computers are also being constantly upgraded when it comes to their performance. The processors are getting quite fast, and soon, it seems like you will never wait for a window to load, but it would pop up instantly, that is unless it gets infected by a virus.
