The true uncut definition of an affiliate is someone who promotes products for a company or individual. This leaves the vendor (product owner) basically free of doing the promoting. They simply pay the affiliate to do this. Usually in the form of a percent of the total product cost. 50 to 75% commision is common. Example only: You promote a product that cost a buyer, say $100, and if your commision is 75% then you get $75. Sometimes a very small process fee is deducted but not enough to matter. Say you do this very thing through traffic to a website of yours, the math say's, $75 x 10 sales a day = $750. A product's total price is $27 and your commision is 50%, that is $13.50 x 10 sales a day = $135. Pick the product that you wish to promote carefully and consider what's hot and what's not. You will come up with a plan and probably end up promoting several product at one time.

Affiliate marketers are responsible for the promoting of any product they choose to be their "niche". There are many, many, digital and physical products to choose from and quite a few companies that supply them to you free of any charge. If you find acompany that try's to charge you a fee to be their affiliate, then do not do that. There is a lot of money to be made doing this. Some peple, after a couple of years or so (without giving up) end up making a6 - 7 digit income.

That is up to the individual. The first thing to ask yourself is, do I have the desire to make more money? Do I have the ability to learn and put forth the effort and the patience to stick with it and follow through? Set your goals high and set your mind to that, but don't throw in the towel when you don't acheive that right away. Would you be happy with even $100 a week to start? It is that much more than you had, Tell yourself to shoot for a $1000 a week in 6 month's from now, stay with it and succeed! Can you muster up the motivation? If so then you just answered the question! You should consider becoming an Affiliate.

There are discouragements along the way just like with anything else but with time, this can pay off and lead up to a solid income and a system that you will find to be rewarding!
