Many have been eyeing for some education jobs. However, only a few would actually proceed as a teacher. In fact, the number of teachers each year becomes smaller than the previous academic term. It is a sad reality as the number of students increase. Unfortunately, the scarcity of new teachers is wreaking havoc and concern to the academe.

Thus, there is a strong drive to invite the young to resort to some education jobs. Maybe you are quite hesitant to join in since you are thinking of other occupations such as being a doctor, engineer or what not. With that said, here are some things and items that might somehow persuade you to pursue to become a teacher.

Item 1: It is noble. Being a teacher is one commendable profession. Without teachers, we would have no doctors, engineers or other occupations today. In fact, even before becoming a professional, mentors are there aiding us along the way. Therefore, it is in their hands the responsibility of training students to become productive and useful in the society and the country. As such, they are not only teaching the lessons, but also integrate the values and disciplines these students might need.

Item 2: You can meet many people. A second good thing about the profession of education is the benefit of meeting many people. Here as a teacher, students would be different and in continuous change each semester and every year. So you know some or indeed all during the period of stay under your hands and care. In the process you also got to gain more friends and it eventually adds every year or academic term.

Item 3: It's fun. Being a teacher does not only focus on discussing the topics at hand. In fact, they fulfill a lot of roles like being a class manager, counselor and friend. But it comes down that these tasks are actually fun. As a matter of fact, all these activities that mentors participate in are truly enjoyable. There are even school events that somehow teachers are also involved. The work actually varies and this is where the fun begins. If we compare to other jobs, being a teacher is more fulfilling.

These are just some of the many positive things one can certainly obtain from being a mentor. As such being a teacher can be difficult, but it's fun once you get the hang of it. Moreover, their role in society is very large. So the best thing would be to choose education jobs more than any other profession to influence one or more.
