If you are using curtain in your living room, you may want to go for more formal ones. You can create this by using plain color and floor length. Using half length will make it less formal. On the other hand, if the curtain is for children's room, then you would want to use those that is colorful and full of patterns.

Glass films help to filter out harmful ray of the sun. They filter out heat and ultra-violet ray that causes upholstery to fade in color. When applied, they make the internal of your home cooler during the day. They also help to save energy.

Window blinds are also popular to be used as window cover. The most popular window blinds are those that is made of wood. With a wooden blind, you have to be prepared for long-term maintenance. Wooden blinds can be expensive too.

The disadvantage of using wooden blinds and window curtains is that, when you close them, the entire room will be dark. You may end up turning on more lights. With curtains, it will be less dark but the fabric may lose its color after some time.

One way to overcome this is to use both curtains and window films at the same time. They complement each other. Window films may be used purely for decorative purpose and may be drawn if you want the room to be blocked of light.

Glass film will help to keep heat out. They may also be used to obscure view. They block off view without blocking off light. When you use both window film and curtains, you will get the best of both worlds.
