Global auto major, Yamaha Motor is trying every bit to capture the attentions and bigger market stake now in India

. Whether you look at the advertisment campaign, sponsorships and most important launching of low budget yet long lasting attitude bikes. And they have become big time successful too making a considerable growth, currently the brand has got 7.5 percent of Indian two wheeler market share pursuing in all possible bike segments. Recently in a confrence, company's spokesperson, K Miwa who is the sr. executive officer of the company informed to reporters that they are speculating and working likely to capture 10 percent of total market share in coming couple of years. This is what the reason Yamaha Motor had a made an investment plan of spening 800 crores on all possible areas; 600 crores out of total spendable has already been invested, still rest of the amount around 200 crores to be invested in coming year.

Though the global motorcycle market went drastically down, and the biggest impact was seen in Unites States, Still the Indian market didn't get affect with the recession, and India was found amongst the countries where motor bikes were sold in enormous numbers. Therefore looking at the competency of Indian two wheeler market, Yamaha Motor Yoshiteru Takahashi, who is Director and Managing Executive officer said that the company is foucing more on Indian two wheeler market, company is looking to increase the production of bikes upto 4.5 lacs, from which 1.5 lacs wull be exported to other asian market.

Yamaha Motor India has launched 3 new bikes keeping common commuters in mind in the recent back, namely Yamaha SZ, Yamaha SZ-X and YBR 125, out of which The brand new Yahama SZ 150 and Yamaha SZ-X are price tagged between 49000 to 52000, whereas the YBR 125 too has been priced just 47000. And if we talk about the further plans of the brand Yamaha Motor, there are few bikes in the queue including the complete sporty Yamaha Fazer 250 having fitted out with about 250cc engine, so Now the Indian Bikers are going to have best of the respective classes bikes in India that too in comparatively lesser price than other biggies.

Recently Yamaha India, has planned out a unique promotional rally fulfilling dual objective of CSR(Corporate Social Responsiblity) and promotion of brand new bikes Yamaha SZ 150 and Yamaha SZ-X, The company is looking to conduct this rally throughout India, in which safe riding ethics and their long term benefits will be spereaded among the people. The rally is going to start from Captial of India, Delhi on Septermber 15, 2010 and will go for non-stop 35 days covering as much states as possible. so This will for sure help out Yamaha making its brand image much stronger and trust worthy among the local people.
