One of the reasons why I would like to become a work from home medical transcriptionist is because I love words. I enjoy spelling words and I have a strong desire to make sure that the words that I type and use are spelled correctly. I also love to type. I looked into medical record jobs, but typing has been one of my favorite hobbies and now has become one of the tasks I do most of the day in my current job working at a computer. If you put together a love for typing and words, I believe you have a good combination for becoming a great medical transcriptionist. Another reason that I want to become a medical transcriptionist is that for several years, I have wanted to start my own part-time business at home. Becoming a medical transcriptionist will enable me to start and continue a part-time business at home. In the future, as I gain more experience, I could start working more hours and develop the part-time job into a full-time job so that I can stay at home. Working from home would cut over two hours of commute time daily and save a lot of wear and tear on my car. My current car is thirteen years old. Also, I would have more time to spend with my husband. We love to travel and go...more
