In today’s uncertain economy many businesses and organizations are facing change as they have never known. Change is always intimidating, but to some, it can cause discouragement, disinterest, depression and even complete apathy. For an organization facing these problems among their employees, a simple remedy can often be found through a motivational speaker who can breathe that essential spark of life back into employees,...more

Would You Like To Stop Procrastinating?

We all procrastinate over some things in life. I myself spent a couple of hours today procrastinating about a short trip to the market to get some necessities. Necessity eventually overcame my reluctance to take that trip, when my stomach began to grumble about being empty! What is procrastination? What causes it? In my case today, I just didn't want to go shopping. Well that's not strictly true; I was perfectly happy sitting at home, on the...more

Motivation Is An Essential Part Of English

At the beginning of the class the students were very attentive, because it was the first class of the day and the teacher had a nice, familiar song that the students were enjoying. After the song was finished, the teacher began talking again, the motivation dropped until the teacher announced that they would be working in groups, which got every student in the class excited. I think the motivation was very high because it was a well-known song and it got the students very excited. When the teacher gave direct, short instructions the students were more interested, than when the teacher gave longer instructions. This is because it is usually harder to follow longer directions, because there is so much being said and if it is in a foreign language it is even harder. Group work gets everyone talking and working on the specific tasks. The progress activity also involved studying pictures to reach a solution. The teacher was constantly going to the students and checking their progress and encouraging them throughout. When the teacher saw that something was giving the students trouble, she would sit down and work through it with the student and this gave the student the confidence to keep...more

Crossing The Goal Line

In order for you to have a life-changing testimonial about crossing your goal line, you must first pass a major test. This test involves dedicating many hours of your time and energy to achieving your WHY! As you progress towards your personal goal line, you will spend many hours of long and hard practice to cross that line in life and WIN! It is very easy to win in life, and it is also very easy not to win. The word "EASY" is the key word. Lets think about it for a minute. How hard is it to turn off the television, put down the newspaper, delete useless gossip in your life and take the productive action needed to win in life? It really is easy and also really not so easy. You need to make a decision about how long and hard you will pay the price to succeed and cross that line. Everyday as I progress towards my goal of changing lives worldwide, I am constantly tested with challenges. I love the challenges that I encounter, because they make the testimonials that I receive even sweeter. One of my favorite motivational quotes that encourages me to face those challenges head-on is:For we walk by faith not by sight. This simply means that you must envision yourself crossing that...more
