Life Training: How To Keep Past Being Overshadowed by:Gary Eby

We were all warriors in the battlefield called life, struggling to find our own place under the sun, to have our own distinct individuality and personal growth. We live in a world where only the fittest specie survives. If there is one thing that we could arm ourselves with and which we could claim our own, it is our own name, a title that gives entity to our being. Socrates in his inspiring quote said, "Regard your good name as the richest jewel...more

Having Self Confidence, Through Life Training, Creates a Fulfilling Life by:Gary Eby

Whenever I look in the mirror, I see a "stud ... not a dud!" If honest confession is good for the soul, in order to be truthful, sometimes I see a "dud not a stud." Tiredness, mental fatigue, spiritual doubts, inhibitions and poor nutrition ... all of these can play a part. But we always have a choice we only need to make the right one. We must absolutely determine that we will not be led about by our feelings. Whether we "feel" good or "feel"...more

Life Training Teaches us Having a Sharp Mind Allows us to be Focused on the Prize by:Gary Eby

I am keenly interested in reading many articles to continually be informed and formulate ideas concerning life training, life skills, leadership training, skill building, personal good and mentoring training. Basically it's all about life business to say the least, but also as a means to truly acknowledge my personal mission that is to assess "what is my worth?"An ophthalmologist once quoted that there were more nearsighted people in New York City than in any other cities. His logic behind this was that people were among the skyscrapers, boxed in by the walls of high sky scrapers, which in turn limited their field of vision. For some of these people, the only opportunity for a distant vision was to look up at the skyline, unfortunately few people in New York ever did. Thus, he said, the constant use of the eyes for short distances causes nearsightedness and dissatisfaction. I'm not a medical expert, so I cannot attest to the validity of this claim, but I do see a logic counterpart here: Our eyes can be so focused on the "immediate" on the short term benefits that we lose sight of the "ultimate" goal. Another idea I had been... "When your outlook is bad ... try the up look"! You'll...more

The Power of Relationships in Life Training by:Gary Eby

Over the years, I've discerned a pattern in the lives of many successful people. They didn't do it alone. They sharpened their skills and wit while being motivated by having regular meetings with persons who had similar interests. They were with their peers whom they can relate to. Gain better influence from Personal Professional group.Twenty-two year old Albert Einstein and like-minded friends met regularly in each other's homes or took long hikes, and sometimes they talked all the way through the night.
