Are You Unconsciously Not Allowing Yourself to Attract Wealth and Get Rich
Are You Unconsciously Not Allowing Yourself to Attract Wealth and Get Rich
It took me many years to figure out why I wasn't achieving the level of success and wealth I wanted.
When I grew up and I was in my early twenties I thought that success in life was meant to be proportioned to the level of intelligence that we have. My belief was simple: study hard, commit to improve and results and money will just show up.
Needless to say that couple of years later anxiety started to rose, as I was staring at the nothing that was going on in my existence whereas people that few years earlier I had almost mocked, were now enjoying the level of success I wanted.
My internal dialogue was like: 'hey, wait a second, I read 10 times as many books as they did, I went to seminars while they were goofing around. So what happens??'
It took me a lot of courage to realize and acknowledge to myself what was going on. I was simply avoiding taking action. And I was doing it without realizing that it was the biggest mistake I could do.
Now, big part of the fault goes to the scholar system. Just think about this: a little child is take, put in front of a class to perform a kind of mental task, and if he/she fails or is not 100% perfect is sent to his/her place with all the other students giggling.
I can vividly remember many of these experiences. What these lead us is totally paralysis in the adult age, due to the perceived need to be perfect in order to do any type of task. So, we need to be 100% prepared and competent before we can do anything in public. I am kind of taking it to the extreme here, but I think this is the biggest reason why so many people lack self esteem when having to do something in front of other people.
OK, time to land the plane: what I am suggesting is that the story above represent a way in which the belief of being perfect before acting was installed in our minds.
And about money and wealth, we might have beliefs inside our unconscious mind that prevent us from getting rich.
Can you recall of your father saying: 'Money is the root of all evil' or 'Money doesn't grow on trees' or similar statements from when you were young? Well these could be acting against you in your path to become wealthy.
FORTUNATELY, latest brain researches show that we can change these beliefs. How? Well, John Assaraf, famous entrepreneur, has been studying the human brain for decades, and now thinks he's got the answer to this one.
Check it out here.
And let me know what you think.
