These were the first two stun guns Barracuda introduced to the public. These two guns were introduced in November 2007. Mr. Harder had been involved in the making of stun guns since 1998. But after the rapid decline in the quality of stun guns he decided to enter the wholesale market. After the BC-10 and BC-12, he introduced BARRACUDA 1.8 million volt BC-18 stun gun into the market.

Most people will not carry a hand gun. BARRACUDA STUN GUNS, which are non lethal weapons, are very good, life saving alternatives. These weapons work through the use of electricity. The stun guns actually produce an electrical charge. These weapons work by producing an electric charge with low amperage but very high voltage. When these weapons are brought in contact with another person then it produces an incredible electric shock which temporarily disables that person.

Based upon the reality that electric impulses generated by the brain which pass through the nervous system is the means how movement, response and thoughts are produced. How a stun gun works is by coming into contact with a person; the nerve impulses are shorted out making it impossible for the body to decipher any electric message, which in turn, causes the body to short out and shut down. The shutting down process of the body is what helps in controlling the movements a person can do after being targeted by a stun gun.
