Directory submission involves submitting to the directories. The directories has many categories to cater to all kinds of websites. You should navigate to the most relevant category. For example, if you want to submit a fishing site, you must list it under Home > Recreation > Fishing. If you list it under the wrong category, the moderator will not move it to the right category. They have a long list of websites in the backlog that are waiting to be reviewed. If you submit it to the wrong category, they will delete it from the database. You will receive a listing rejection email that ask you to resubmit the URL.

Article submission involves submitting your articles to the article directories. The process of article submission is simple and straightforward. Before you are allowed to submit the article, you must register for an author account. Some article directories will send a confirmation email to your account. The link on do follow blog will be followed and crawled by the search engine. The link should be inserted in the URL field. In the name field, you can insert the anchor text for the anchor link. After you submitted the post, you will have to wait for the moderator to approve the comment. Some blogs offer instant approval for the comment. When commenting on blog, make sure you read the post carefully.
