Do you ever have this question: "Are there any keyword tools I can use to come up with longtailed keyword ideas

?" Great question, and yes there are some tools that I can show you. Keywords are important, but so misunderstood.

I included this question because there are certain free keyword tools that the King uses, no not me, Travis Sago, the original Bum Marketer, to get keyword ideas. These tools are also useful for getting ideas for keywords that fit the LSI we talked about earlier. LSI stands for Latent Semantic Indexing, a fancy name for a system Google uses that examines the text on sites across the web to check for keywords, and keyphrases that closely match your main keyword.

There is some debate as to whether or not Google really uses this system and I believe that they do. So if your keyword is "George Foreman Grills", Google will look for pages with that keyword as well as keywords like barbecue, briquette, etc.

A good place to start to get the LSI words is kwmap.com. Just type in a keyword and you will see that it gives you kind of a map extending outward from the main keyword with other keyword combinations. Click on any one of these and a new map pops up with even more refined keywords extending out from the one that replaced your existing keyword. Pretty cool isn't it!

SEObook.com is another great tool to use as is Googles External Keyword Tool set to look a t a particular website to return keywords that the site has optimized for.

It's also advisable to go to Google and type in "keyword tools", and see what you come up with because things change on a daily basis on the net and cool keyword tools are added almost daily. Be careful of sites that fish for personal information. There should never be a need to exchange personal information for keywords.
